Artisan Marketplace
Every object has an origin.
We know ours.
The Alaya Artisan Marketplace is a living collection of makers whose work we know deeply — not through a catalog, but through relationship. Ceramicists, weavers, furniture makers, lighting designers, and object artists whose craft carries cultural knowledge, ethical provenance, and enduring beauty.
These are not objects selected for style. They are objects selected for integrity — for the hands that made them, the places they come from, and the care embedded in every stage of their creation.
Global reach. Local roots.
Wherever Alaya works — across design projects, collective experiences, and development partnerships — we source from within. Local artisans, regional materials, makers whose craft is inseparable from the culture and landscape of the places we work in.
Our current maker relationships are rooted primarily in the Americas, spanning North, Central, and South America. As Alaya grows into new geographies, so does the Marketplace —
building new relationships with makers in each place we touch, ensuring that every
object in our collection belongs somewhere real.
This is conscious co-creation in practice. When a ceramicist in Oaxaca produces a piece that finds its way into a home in Colorado or a wellness retreat in Costa Rica, something moves in both directions — beauty travels outward, and stewardship flows back.
A curated and ever-evolving collection.
The Marketplace spans a carefully curated range of categories — all selected for their relevance to the spaces and lives Alaya serves:
Furniture
Lighting
Rugs & Textiles
Home Objects & Decorative Arts
Linens & Woven Art
Ceramics & Tableware
Art & Photography
Inner Temple — Objects for Ritual & Wellness Spaces

Curation, not a cart.
Alaya's Marketplace is not a transactional shopping experience. It is a curated service — one in which our team works directly with you to identify the best pieces for your purpose.
Whether you are furnishing a single room, sourcing objects for a development project, or looking for a specific piece with cultural meaning and genuine craft, we invite you to begin a conversation. The Alaya team will guide you through what is available, what can be commissioned, and what might be made specifically for you.
An Alaya online shop is coming — a curated selection of Marketplace pieces available to browse and acquire directly from their makers. In the meantime, we warmly invite you to connect with our team.
